Metal electronic motor hoses include stainless steel hoses, plastic coated metal hoses, explosion-proof metal hoses, and other types. Their temperature resistance range is greatly affected by the inner metal material and outer coating material (if any). The specific temperature resistance range of different types is as follows:
stainless steel hose
These types of hoses are mostly made of materials such as 304 and 316. When there is no outer plastic coating, the high temperature resistance performance is outstanding. The temperature resistance range for regular use can reach -40 ℃ -300 ℃; If it is a pure stainless steel corrugated pipe that is suitable for extreme scenarios, the upper limit of temperature resistance can be further increased. Some can withstand high temperatures up to 600 ℃, while also being able to cope with ultra-low temperature environments of -196 ℃. It is suitable for sensing circuits, core component connections, and other scenarios in electronic motors that require high temperature tolerance.
Plastic coated metal hose
Its temperature resistance is determined by both the inner metal layer and the outer plastic coating material, with significant differences among different plastic coating materials
PVC coated version: The inner layer is mostly made of galvanized steel strip, with a narrow temperature resistance range, generally between -10 ℃ and 80 ℃, and can withstand high temperatures of up to 100 ℃ in a short period of time. It is commonly used in the basic circuit protection of ordinary motors.
PE coated version: The inner layer is made of galvanized steel strip or stainless steel strip, with better low-temperature resistance and a temperature range of -40 ℃ -80 ℃, suitable for outdoor electronic motor wiring with large temperature fluctuations.
Stainless steel inner layer+special plastic wrapped version: If the inner layer is made of 304 stainless steel and the outer layer is matched with high-temperature resistant plastic, it can adapt to environments ranging from -40 ℃ to 160 ℃ in extreme cases, and is suitable for special heat dissipation pipelines of precision electronic motors and other scenarios.
Explosion proof metal hose
The temperature resistance varies significantly depending on the material of the shell and tube body
Conventional cast aluminum casing: The temperature range for daily use is mostly between -20 ℃ and 80 ℃. Exceeding this range can lead to material aging and cracking, making it suitable for ordinary explosion-proof motor circuits in dry and non corrosive environments.
304/316 stainless steel material version: With significantly improved high temperature resistance, the temperature range can reach -40 ℃ -300 ℃. Some metal bellows type stainless steel explosion-proof hoses can withstand high temperatures of up to 200 ℃ for long-term use, making them suitable for use with explosion-proof motors that come into contact with high-temperature media in the chemical and petroleum industries.
